Today is a blissful Sunday for me. At 3pm, I went to SBCC for the LifeXtreme youth worship which I haven’t attended for at least 3 months now. And I’m so glad I came back to worship with the friends I made inside the church. For every service, there is always a part for tithes and offerings. I see to it that I give back something to the church because they’ve helped me so much and I can say that I am a cheerful giver!
I’ve realized that I’ve been saving a lot from my allowance in the past two weeks and it’s really surprising. Perhaps it’s all because of the class suspensions and my classes are mostly at night so I’m able to eat lunch and merienda at home. Also, no time for gimmicks.
This afternoon, when the ushers passed the basket for the offerings, I reached for my pocket and gave everything that I have inside. God has never failed me when it comes to financial issues and it’s always amazing how he gives me what I need even without me really asking. There’s this one time when I wanted to join the Women’s Encounter and had to pay some sort of fee and it’s quite a big amount. I didn’t want to ask from my parents so I got it from my allowance. I thought I’d be broke by the following week but I think it was my father who gave me money out of nowhere and it’s like I never really spent anything for the camp.
So who are the guys below the photo? That’s Christian (Anong) and Mang Michael (Dayot. Really weird nickname for a Michael). They are my cousin’s junk shop employees. My tita (cousin’s mom) just recently registered their junk shop in BIR and she asked me to make an ID for the employees. I went to her house after the service to get the pictures of the employees she took using her camera. And guess what, she gave me money for merienda daw lol. So it’s like I didn’t spend anything today.
I just said to myself  “Lord, you really are unpredictable!”
